Alison has a deep love for her family, animals, horror films, chocolate, and laughter, among other things. She was always particular about referring to her 'illness', which made controlling her mood a challenge. She raised awareness of the importance of acknowledging her distress, in order to develop the trust for some of her actions to be challenged when needed, yet at other times to allow storm clouds to pass without adding fuel to fire. Above all she brought home the importance of FUN in feeling supported, and in quality of life.

The pictures below are a tribute to an extraordinary woman with an enormous capacity to enjoy life.
